Specialist in the field of biochemistry. He has many years of experience working in research projects with different scientific profiles. He gained his scientific experience working, among others, in the Department of Plant Physiology at the University of Potsdam, in the Department of Biochemistry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, in the Motor Protein Laboratory at the Marcel Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology in Warsaw, as well as in biotechnology companies within the NanoGroup S.A. He is the author of numerous scientific publications, and the diverse profile of his research has allowed him to acquire multidisciplinary knowledge in chemistry and biology.
Specialist in medical biology. Trained as a biotechnologist. She conducts research on the role of active substances in the human ageing process, with a special focus on skin ageing. She has completed numerous scientific internships, including at Blaise Pascal University in France, Stanford University and the University of Illinois in the USA. She is a winner of prestigious scholarship programmes, such as the Ministry of Science and Higher Education’s ‘Top 500 Innovators’ programme and the Kościuszko Foundation scholarship. She also lectures at the University of Warsaw and Kozminski University, where she shares her knowledge of the molecular mechanisms of the cellular ageing process.
Her research interests include the regulation of reproductive functions in physiological and pathological conditions (e.g. in polycystic ovary syndrome). She directs numerous scientific projects funded by Polish and foreign institutions. She cooperates scientifically with research centres in Japan, USA and France. She is the author of numerous scientific publications, chapters in books, popular science articles and conference reports.
